🏫 About Desh Bhagat University

Desh Bhagat University (DBU), Mandi Gobindgarh, Punjab, was established in 2012 through the Desh Bhagat University Act, passed by the State Legislature of Punjab. The University is named in honor of freedom fighter S. Lal Singh, who was awarded the Tamra Patra for his contributions to India’s independence movement. DBU is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC), accredited with NAAC A+ grade, and holds 12(B) status. It is also a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
